Optimization Tab in Analytics
When you're working in the Analytics report with zone-level data, you can enable an optimization overlay that shows each zone's current status and lets you block or unblock directly from the table — without switching to the Alerts section.
Enabling the tab
The optimization toggle appears in the report toolbar when your report is broken down by net_source (zone). Click Show Optimization to enable it.
When active, the table gains two additional columns:
- Status — an icon showing the zone's current optimization state
- Conversions since block — the number of conversions recorded after the zone was blocked (useful for evaluating whether to unblock)
A Block or Unblock button appears on each row where the zone has an active or blocked alert.
Zone statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| No icon | Zone has no active rule or hasn't reached the minimum clicks threshold yet |
| Warning (yellow) | Zone has triggered a rule — action recommended |
| Danger (red) | Zone is blocked |
Blocking from the report
Click Block on a triggered zone to open the block modal. The flow depends on your source type:
Integrated source (connected account): click Block in the modal to call the network's API directly. Rinku updates the zone status automatically on success.
Custom source or no connected account: the modal shows the zone ID and instructions to add it to the network's blacklist manually. After doing so, click I blocked manually to mark it as blocked in Rinku.
Unblocking from the report
Click Unblock on a blocked zone to reverse the action. The same logic applies — integrated sources unblock via API, others require a manual step in the network followed by confirming in Rinku.
After unblocking, Rinku re-evaluates the zone against the current data. If it still meets the rule's conditions, it will re-trigger.
Conversions since block
This column shows how many conversions came through a zone after it was blocked. A non-zero value may indicate the block didn't take effect on the network side, or the zone was partially blocked.
