Quick Start
Get your first campaign tracking in under 10 minutes.
What you'll need
- A Rinku account (app.rinku.ru)
- A traffic source (ad network) ready to receive a tracking URL
- An affiliate offer with postback support
Step 1 — Create a Traffic Source
Go to Sources → New Source.
- Name it (e.g. "Propeller Ads")
- Map the input parameters your network sends (zone ID, publisher ID, etc.)
- Save
→ Detailed guide: Create a Traffic Source
Step 2 — Create an Offer
Go to Offers → New Offer.
- Enter the offer name and Target URL
- Add
{click_id}to the Target URL — e.g.https://offer.example.com?cid={click_id} - Enable Payout in postback parameters if your network sends it
- Save and copy the Postback URL
→ Detailed guide: Create an Offer
Step 3 — Create a Campaign
Go to Campaigns → New Campaign.
- Set name, pricing model, tags, vertical
- Select the traffic source you created
- Choose a tracking domain
- In Rotation → add the offer you created
- Save and copy the Campaign URL
→ Detailed guide: Create a Campaign
Step 4 — Connect everything
- In your ad network: paste the Campaign URL as your tracking link. Set network macros to match your token placeholders (e.g.
&zone={zoneid}&pid={publisherid}) - In your affiliate network: paste the Postback URL from Rinku. It should fire on every confirmed conversion
Step 5 — Watch the data flow
Once traffic starts:
- Go to Analytics and drill down by zone, subid, country, or device
- Check the Click Log to verify all parameters are being passed correctly
- Monitor ROI per zone — unprofitable segments will stand out immediately
Tips for faster optimization
- Always pass
{click_id}through the chain — without it, postbacks can't be attributed - Use
token_1…token_30for any additional segmentation (zone, publisher, creative, sub-source) - Name your tokens in Account Settings so reports are readable
What's next?
- Set up routing rules to split traffic by device, geo, or token value
- Understand parameter mapping for advanced URL configuration
